1. Accurate Declaration Requirement
Every international shipment must be accompanied by a complete and accurate customer declaration submitted through the Global Lynx client portal before the package is approved for international transportation. The declaration must include the contents, quantity, declared or purchase value, country of origin, package weight, and package dimensions.
Global Lynx Logistics LLC (“Global Lynx”) may refuse, hold, or return any package for which a complete and accurate declaration has not been provided.
Back to top2. Customer Responsibility for Contents and Value Information
The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information supplied to Global Lynx, including the description of contents, quantity, country of origin, weight, dimensions, and declared or purchase value.
Understated values, vague descriptions, inaccurate information, or omitted items may result in customs penalties, seizure, delays, additional charges, or refusal of the shipment. Any resulting costs or expenses are the responsibility of the customer.
Back to top3. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Global Lynx does not accept dangerous goods or hazardous materials unless specifically approved under a separate compliant program.
Prohibited categories are published on the Global Lynx International Shipping page and may be updated at any time.
Restricted items are not automatically prohibited. They may require advance approval, permits, licenses, special packaging, additional documentation, or other authorization before Global Lynx can accept or transport them. Eligibility may depend on the specific item, destination, applicable laws, and transportation requirements.
Back to top4. Customs Inspection
Customs authorities and other government authorities may open, inspect, scan, test, examine, or detain any shipment at their discretion. Global Lynx does not control customs inspection decisions or the amount of time required for an inspection or related government process.
Back to top5. Customs Duties and Taxes
Customs duties, taxes, permits, licenses, storage, inspection, destination handling, and other government or third-party charges may apply to an international shipment.
Unless specifically included in the selected Global Lynx service, such charges are the responsibility of the customer, importer, or recipient, as applicable.
Back to top6. Permits and Licenses
Where an import permit, license, certificate, authorization, or other government approval is required, the customer is responsible for obtaining and providing the required documentation to Global Lynx.
Shipments awaiting required permits, licenses, or authorizations may be held at origin or destination. Any applicable storage, handling, administrative, or other charges may be charged to the customer.
Back to top7. Global Lynx Shipping Requirements
Global Lynx Logistics LLC provides logistics, warehousing, consolidation, and international shipping services for individuals and businesses, including personal and commercial shipments from the United States to destinations around the world.
Global Lynx determines whether a shipment can be accepted based on applicable laws, regulations, transportation requirements, destination restrictions, package characteristics, documentation, and safety considerations.
Back to top8. Package Refusal and Hold
Global Lynx may refuse, hold, repackage, return, or dispose of any package that cannot legally or safely be transported, that is inaccurately or incompletely declared, that lacks required documentation or authorization, or that presents a risk to personnel, facilities, equipment, or other shipments.
Where practical, Global Lynx will notify the customer and provide an opportunity to correct the issue. The customer is responsible for any applicable costs associated with correction, storage, repackaging, return, handling, or disposal.
Back to top9. Abandoned and Unclaimed Shipments
Packages that remain unclaimed, unpaid, or unresolved for seven (7) days after notification may be treated as abandoned.
Abandoned shipments may be returned at the customer's expense, subject to a storage fee of $50 per day, sold, donated, or disposed of in accordance with applicable law.
Any accrued storage, handling, transportation, destination, administrative, or other applicable charges remain the responsibility of the customer.
Back to top10. Damage and Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted to Global Lynx in writing within five (5) days of delivery or the date the shipment was made available for pickup.
Claims must include the package reference number, photographs showing the condition of the package and contents, the purchase receipt or invoice when available, and a description of the loss or damage.
Claims will be evaluated based on the declared value of the shipment and any applicable limitations of liability established by Global Lynx's terms of service.
Concealed damage must be reported to Global Lynx immediately upon discovery.

All transit times, departure dates, and arrival dates provided by Global Lynx are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Back to top12. Customs-Delay Disclaimer
Global Lynx is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, documentation reviews, government action, permit or license processing, security screening, import requirements, or other governmental or regulatory actions outside Global Lynx's direct control.
Such delays do not constitute a failure by Global Lynx to perform its services.
Back to top13. Refunds and Cancellation
A shipment may be cancelled without a cancellation charge before Global Lynx has tendered the shipment for transportation, less any handling, storage, processing, packaging, or other charges already incurred.
Once transportation of the shipment has commenced or the shipment has been tendered for transportation, transportation charges are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by Global Lynx.
Customs duties, taxes, permits, government charges, and third-party destination charges are not refundable by Global Lynx.
